Custom backgammon checkers
Every set is 30 checkers (15 per player), printed to order in matte colours. Each design is inlaid in the other player's colour, so it can't chip or wear off.

Size: Standard 36 mm, the classic tavli size. Add a custom box for €34: it holds all 30 checkers, with your design on the lid. Need Medium 26 mm or Large Tournament 40 mm? Ask for other sizes.
How they're made: every checker is 3D printed in matte PLA in two halves, so both faces come out smooth, without the visible layer lines you usually see on 3D prints. The halves are then bonded together, which leaves a fine line around the edge. That's part of the process, not a flaw, and every piece is checked by hand.

Questions
How are your custom backgammon pieces personalised?
Each of the 30 checkers has your design inlaid in the other player's colour: up to three initials, a different monogram for each player, or your own logo. The colour runs right through the checker, so it can't chip, peel or wear off.
What size are the checkers?
Standard 36 mm, the classic tavli size that fits most boards, and the size I usually make. For smaller or larger checkers, get in touch at hello@bearoffstudio.com.
Can I put my company or club logo on backgammon pieces?
Yes. Send your logo, and I'll print one sample checker and send you a photo to approve before making the full set. Custom logo sets start at €90.
How much does a personalised backgammon set cost?
A monogrammed set of 30 checkers is €65, a couples set with two monograms is €75 and a custom logo set is €90. A custom box with your design on the lid adds €34.
What are they made of, and where?
Matte PLA, a plant-based bioplastic. Every set is 3D printed to order in Greece and ships tracked to the EU and worldwide.
About
BearOff Studio started at a café table in Greece, over a game of tavli played with checkers that didn't match. I design every piece myself and print it on multi-colour printers, so the colour runs through the checker instead of sitting on top as paint.
Each set is made to order, checked by hand and packed with care. It's modern tools for a game that's thousands of years old.
